Padres/Nationals swap old farts

The Padres and Nationals have agreed to the following:

Padres receive:
OF Hunter, Torii, $18m (2011) - $8m paid by NYY in 2011

Nationals receive:
SP Young, Chris, $3.5m (2011)
OF Cameron, Mike, $4m (2012)

I decided to take a gamble on two injury prone players that should be 100% come next spring.  Young pitched well this September, and Cameron will hopefully have a starting gig in the Boston OF, or something near it.  Trading away Hunter does decrease some guaranteed productivity, but I also gain a bit in cap, and I am able to trade away $3.5m and $4m much easier than $10m if need be.  Padres to confirm, thanks Chris!

I accept.  I get proven production on his last year.  I would have cleared Young's cap next year anyways, but cameron was on a bad contract for my team, and he's old old.  Easy transaction to complete; thanks Jake.    <<<?You didn't post this at the end of your message, is this really Jake?

Surprised to see Padres take on Hunter's salary, but it is not long term.  Jake's return is ok, but both are health wildcards.
