I get some forward depth for my defensive depth. I have a lot of defence prospects on the way so petry was tradeable. I have lot's of draft picks so converting 2 into 1 higher one works great for me.

i was in need for a D that i get in Petry an original 2nd round pick (45th overall) of 2006  by Edmonton who turned pro last year by playing 35 games in NHL and 41 at the AHL level were he
recorded 24 points . had to give Sullivan and my 1 st round pick for him and two 2nd round pick .
