I vote to leave the rule as it is now. Its much better. Moves were made with this rule in place. No change is needed. On a side Gilly and Peter have been great at running this league. The league is in far better shape now then it was last spring. Great job boys.
My concerns are the free points with minor leaguers like i said above. You should only be able to acumalte points for a certin player if you have the cap space, roster space and have included him as part of your roster. As I have said I'm willing to add call ups. It's the easy solution and something I have been thinking about.
I don't have a problem changeing things if everybody is on the same page. I strongly disagree that MiLr roster players should be able to collect points on fantrax. Whats the point of a salary cap? exampleRyan Nugget Hopkins has 19 points already and no contract. If he has a contract he would be a 3 mill cap hit. So with your proposal he would have almost 40 points by the time he would have to be signed. Which also means the owning team can have another player who could have the same points in his slot. Then even when added to the main roster and droping such extra player. The team has a bunch of free points and did not have to tie any cap to it really. I hope that made sence.... lolI'm open to being able to send players up and down. It can work smoothly like it does in other leagues I'm in but I would need some help on fantrax in some cases..
You can't stack minor guys for two reasons. A) there is a minor league roster size limit and B) once a guy plays 40 games in their career they must go to the major league roster or be released.I understand why you guys made changes at first, to close a revolving door of call ups and send downs which effected signing prices for free agent prospects and then getting the cheaper by calling them up, sending them down, and then getting the cheaper contract for the draft position upon the next call up...confusing sorry. Contractually, two separate rosters are important, but for scoring purposed I don't think it is.
