The NHL season is creeping up on us and starts on October 5th! That means for us that waiver free is opening right away, which will be tomorrow! That means I got to get on it and update rosters, which I promise to do sometime next week.

Here are the full deadlines updated:

Off-Season Free Agency Ends - September 29, 2017 @ 12:00am

Waiver Free Period Begins - September 29, 2017 @ 12:00am

Season Begins - October, 5th, 2017

IR Opens - October 12th, 2017 @ 12:00am

Free Agency Opens - October 12th, 2017 @ 12:00am

Waiver Free Period Ends - October 19th, 2017 @12:00am

IR is not open so these contract can also not be IR contracts.

Just a fair warning as well, you would possibly find yourself in roster trouble if you put guys on IR and didn't sign IR replacements and instead signed full contracts as you wouldn't have the ability to release them when the player needs to come off IR and then would have too many contracts in the majors.
