I was advertising that I wanted to add a D and I do that here.
I hate that I lose Hoffman with his dual eligibility and the fact that he seems to be trending upwards the past two seasons increasing his point total, but I wanted to add another long-term Dman on a good contract so I had to pay up. I just hope Risto continues to develop his offensive game some more.
I always had faith that Brodie would have a nice rebound season this year, but I like the fact that I have the option to not re-sign Martinez next season, as I need to re-sign 2 goalies on expiring contracts.
Pick swap to make up for the difference in fanpts moving, although no one expects the BUF picks to be high in those rounds, but I still move up some spots in the draft overall.

Tough trade negotiations were had today, but we got a deal done.

BUffalo confirms.

I really hate to lose Rasmus but I have to give a good player to acquire Hofman, the 2nd top scorer with Ottawa. Just hoping that he will keep his dual position. I gave up 2 nice draft picks in 2019 but I am sure that these 2018 3rounders will translate in good picks as usual
