Last updated: December 14, 2012

Prospect rankings below are compiled several times per year.  The goal of these rankings is to show how we at ProFSL think that these players will perform in most fantasy leagues over their careers.

1) Trevor Bauer :ARZ: - Bauer strikes out more than one batter per inning

  • papps: Dan, how are we going to assign teams?
  • VolsRaysBucs: lol Sooner, after sleeping on it, I'm just going to "pretend" it's like I got hired by a team taking a chance on an unknown GM...treat it like all the computer games I've role played as GM my whole life where I just "ended up" with whatever team needed me lol
    Today at 10:44:29 AM
  • OUDAN: We will all pay our $20 for this season once full, then we will get a draft order and draft teams from there. We will be drafting entire teams
    Today at 10:44:49 AM
  • VolsRaysBucs: If I get Cubs, terrific, if I get A's, I can create a fun universe in my mind for that situation as well lol
    Today at 10:45:15 AM
  • OUDAN: Vols thats exactly how I see it. Its my own OOTP
    Today at 10:45:16 AM
  • OUDAN: Once draft is done we will set a deadline for total payments (which will be next years payments)
  • VolsRaysBucs: How will the "leftover draft" work if we only get 1 drop?  Won't there be a lack of available roster spots/available talent?  My mind's eye is having trouble picturing how that will transpire
    Today at 10:46:16 AM
  • OUDAN: The $20 from everyone will go into the pot for 2015s 1/2 season
    Today at 10:46:25 AM
  • VolsRaysBucs: Hear hear to OOTP Sooner!!!!!
  • Scalious: Hey...Since this was a problem on 108. Which team is Trea Turner on?
  • OUDAN: They will be FA
  • Scalious: Pads, right?
  • OUDAN: So trades will almost be required lol
    Today at 10:47:17 AM
  • VolsRaysBucs: good question Scales!
  • OUDAN: Whatever COTS has as of yesterdays date I believe
    Today at 10:48:00 AM
  • Scalious: Yeah.. He's techinally on the Pads..but he was apart of that Myers trade heading to the Nats
    Today at 10:48:14 AM
  • VolsRaysBucs: who will be FA
  • OUDAN: Ahhhhhh
  • OUDAN: Anyone not on the 40 man rosters (or dropped via free drop) or any spec not kept by a team
    Today at 10:48:54 AM
  • VolsRaysBucs: X Viciedo, Dayan, $-1.5m   $-1.5m                  Cash Exchanged on Contract X Viciedo, Dayan, $-1m   $-1.0m   $-1.5m               Cash Exchanged on Contract
    Today at 10:49:21 AM
  • VolsRaysBucs: @ Tony
  • OUDAN: So when drafting you pick :TB: your get their 40 man roster and you choose your specs
    Today at 10:49:27 AM
  • VolsRaysBucs: That's what shows on your team page
    Today at 10:49:43 AM
  • Corey: alot of teams will drop quite a few 40 man guys that are P deals, or place them in the minors to get tradeable cap space
    Today at 10:50:58 AM
  • Scalious: He's suppose to arrive to the Nats in June...So when you start the selection process he may be in the Nats system..but if you said as of yesterday. That would mean the Pads
    Today at 10:51:08 AM
  • VolsRaysBucs: So then if we want to pick up any available FA, we'd then need to create roster spots via releases/etc. is that correct Sooner?
  • VolsRaysBucs: nix my last question, Corey answered above lol
    Today at 10:51:43 AM
  • OUDAN: Yup
  • VolsRaysBucs: this is going to be TIIIIIIIIGHT
    Today at 10:52:20 AM
  • 9inches: Vols... the first number is just like the Contract... it's a spreadsheet thing. It double lists the current years $.
  • OUDAN: Agreed!
  • 9inches: that goes for all contracts being paid on. check out someone with a 2015 contract that has money paid on him... like Rollins
    Today at 10:54:17 AM
  • 9inches: it shows that $3m is being paid on a 2nd year.. but there is no second deal.
  • 9inches: also, you can tell a difference, usually, because IF A ROUND NUMBER the decimal will not show up in the first column.
  • 9inches: hope that doesn't change things for you.
  • 9inches: "no second *year" ... not "no second deal"
  • Scalious: 9..why ya gotta complicate things
    Today at 11:01:49 AM
  • 9inches: it's not me... it's the spreadsheet!!!
  • 9inches: :agent:
  • Scalious: Cool..Now give me my spec!
