The Bush League / Re: Official 2019 Bush League Trade Block
« on: June 17, 2019, 11:46:21 AM »
Philly puts on the block

CI Ramirez, Jose E.         2022   $5.6m

Dude has been trash this year but has scored over 4k the last two years.  He is slumping but thats not the reason he's on the block.  Looking for a package of guys that will better round out my team.  I don't want all specs but open to listening.  I'm not giving him away.  I gave up a lot to get him two months ago.  Let me know if you are interested.

Franchise GM: Completed Transactions / Phillies extend
« on: June 10, 2019, 02:29:13 PM »
MI Seager, Corey, $0.5m (P-2019)
Highest rank #23 in 2019
New contract
MI Seager, Corey, $4m (2024)

Indians get
MI Gamboa, Arquimedes, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Lockett, Walker, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Bishop, Braden, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Phillies get
OF Pence, Hunter, $0.5m (2020)

Brian drove a hard bargain here in getting me to give up Gamboa. I really needed a 4th OF and Pence has been excellent this year. Hes cheap and will give me perfect depth. I just hope he continues to hit.

Thanks Brian  :toast:

OF Jay, Jon, $4m (2020) - Rehabbing now, will be back soon

The Bush League: Completed Transactions / Phillies - Cubs Trade
« on: June 07, 2019, 02:01:01 PM »
Philly gets
SP Loaisiga, Jonathan         P-n/a   $0.5m
SP Montgomery, Jordan         P-2020   $0.5m
CI Smith, Pavin         P-n/a   $0.5m

Cubs get
SP Keuchel, Dallas         2020   $12.0m
X Keuchel, Dallas            $-6.0m   $-6.0m               Cash Exchanged on Contract

I needed to clear some cap for next year to make other moves and this does just that. Hopefully Montgomery comes back healthy this year.  I got another arm and a former top ten pick.

Thanks Anthony  :toast:

  • Jonathan: A team that wishes to remove a player from the 40-man roster and place him in the minor league system first needs to place him on irrevocable outright waivers. The team may not pull him back if another team claims the player. Other organizations have 48 hours to make a claim.  If the organization does not specify the type of waivers, this is the default.
