Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Chicago to sign prospect to ELC
« on: February 28, 2019, 12:18:45 AM »
Chicago management has prepared for the possibility that Colin White will need an Entry Level Contract this season. With our recent trade with the Vegas Golden Knights, we have created $0.5 Million in additional cap space giving us a total of $1.9 Million in cap space.

C - Colin White (2015: 1/21 - 80 Games)  as of February 27th

If White reaches his 82nd game within the FNHL Regular Season (possibly after this Saturday's game March 2nd), Chicago management will sign him to a 1yr EL contract. Otherwise, we will wait until the 2019-20 season to do so.

C - Colin White, $1.5m (2018-2019-EL)

This bid gets the Lightning enough cap space to complete their trade with Chicago.

Going to Tampa Bay
Andrew Ladd, $2.1m (2018-2021)
Round 4 - 2019 (from :CHI-NHL:)

Trade to Chicago
Dominik Simon, $0.6m (2018-2020)
SDP Round 2 - 2019 (from :TBL:)

Chicago management completes a trade to bring in a helping hand for our post-season drive by dealing veteran power forward Ladd who's on the mend. As much as we want to wait to see how Andrew will produce on a streaking Islanders team rebuild by Lou, we need to move forward. Indiansnation to confirm.

  • Brent: Chargers are led by a GM who is a long time GM and has a history of building teams in all sports.  He wanted to build a team withi his vision. That's the beauty of a league like this.  This isn't Yahoo or ESPN where names and current production matter.  Age, contract, cap space, draft picks, etc are all factored in.  Few trades get vetoed as we leave it to the GMs to run their respective teams.
    October 20, 2019, 06:18:43 PM
  • Brent: The Chargers have an active GM who has a vision and is building the team how he wants.  He's been questioned about what he gave to get Josh Allen, but he has defended it repeatedly here in chat.  It is difficult to get young cost controlled QBs so he made a move to get the guy he wanted.

  • jojowalkwalk: True but I don;t undertand the move
    October 20, 2019, 08:18:41 PM
  • Brent: I was replying to Teddy who questioned the integrity of the league b/c of that trade.  I didn't know you had an issue with it.  We could go through all of the trades in this league and this site and nobody has trades that aren't questionable.

  • blkhwkfn: I don’t have a punter, personally I think it’s silly to score a punter. Kind of like the leagues where you draft a coach and get points for the win.JMO
    Yesterday at 08:43:32 AM
  • Brent: This league is designed to be more realistic for players that impact the game.  Punters are scored as they would impacting a RL game.
