On home i have 5 mesages how do they come off i click on home and it does nothing.
You have 3 mentions from today, I could check how many PMs but don't want to. I would say just... Read your mentions/PMs?:P It's nothing to do with the forum theme :)

Not that I'm aware of without adding budget, it's not easy stuff to work with this ancient code and mechanics. For the menu alone I would have doubled the budget itself, but I would have turned into the classic "hamburger" with 3 dots, made each button to be on a new line and so on. It does, however, take a hell of a lot of time, I cannot afford to do this for free.
Something along the lines of this, which I recoded entirely and had just about twice the budget: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BY_bDFzXxw

Oh yeah, the dropdowns will never work on tablet or mobile, that's intended and will not change, as doing that requires full overhaul since you don't "hover" on those devices. Current version, however, should be fixed for pc.

I've asked for a screenshot, because once again I cannot see it due to me not being in any league, so I'm literally making changes blind.
Try now, after refreshing browser cache.

P.S.: help me help you, "it doesn't work" is not an explanation. "The sub-menu is too far to the right and cannot be clicked" is an explanation, or at least that's what I think it can be wrong with it, but without seeing it or having accurate description it's mega hard. It's like you bring a car to the workshop and tell them "it doesn't work", without even telling them whether it's the engine, suspensions etc...

That particular dropdown should be a lot thinner than the others now, given you only have short texts in there (keep it that way or will go on a new line). I've done it blind because I don't have that dropdown, given I'm not present in leagues. Can you post a screenshot of the result please? Ctrl + F5 to see the changes, or clear the browser cache as usual.

And tbh that button should be next to league ones, not next to logout IMO...

Updates to the Google spreadsheet would be displayed in the embedded version, so no they're not extra stuff, if anything, the other way around :)

I am not an expert about your leagues stuff but by sheer logic I would assume that while you bid/trade/do stuff you want to see the roster alongside it, to have a good overall view.
Basically, you would click on the rosters link as usual but rather than leaving the site to display a Google spreadsheet, you would be opening a new tab alongside your current one, with the embedded spreadsheet on profsl itself. Then, you would easily be able to switch tabs rather than having to use the back button on the browser to go back where you were and so on.
Hope this clears things up :)

Improvements can be made if you have time. For instance, you could make individual pages via SimplePortal and import the content from Google Spreadsheet via an iframe in said page. The owner(s) must click on publish, then paste the link into something along the lines of the code available in the roster example page I just made.
http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?page=BackyardNHLRosterExample
So basically...
1) Make spreadsheet
2) Click on file, publish (that one I made has a clone of your existing one, as I cannot publish it without access, so don't think that updating your current spreadsheet will change that page - it won't)
3) Get the link
4) Make a new SimplePortal page
5) Grab the code from my example page
6) Replace the link with yours
7) Adjust SimplePortal page permissions or whatever other config you may need
8) Change existing blocks to link to the new page rather than the spreadsheet, could also recommend using <a href="whatever page link" target="_blank">Roster[/url] to make them open in a new tab rather than having to go back and forth.

Advantages are that it embeds the spreadsheet directly into the forum, and it could actually be expanded upon with the design and stuff, I reckon. Quite nifty and doesn't force users to go to the actual spreadsheet, away from your site.
Disadvantages? Time consuming, can't make iframes to be responsive (google dictates styles) so you will have to scroll the tables.

I attached a photo of what I think we can do. We don't need the little paper icons on the left, and the custom logos should do just fine.

If there's a way to make the replies and views column text smaller, that info isn't very important and can take up less space. In the last column, again I think the text can be a little smaller. At the very least if we can keep the full date on the same line, then the full time on the same line, and user on the next, it would be ideal.
Nvm, some fixes I had made weren't being applied on those columns and there was a missing property for the icons not to go places, beyond their own spot. Fixed all of that.

Copying from a PM -

1) On the pinned posts which are shaded green at the top of each board, the text color of dark green when unread is difficult to read.  For someone who was colorblind, it would be impossible or nearly impossible.

2) When viewing posts on mobile, the first column, which both contain icons seem overly large for their contents especially when viewed against the third column which contains the title of the thread, which seems smaller.

3) This one is probably more picky than anything, but when I click the Recent Unread Topics or the Updated Topics, the delineation between messages is a little bit difficult.  It would be nice if there was a little bit of space or some kind of demarcation between the messages.  Again, I realize this is probably very low priority.
All changed after the PM, dark border for 1), unfinished layout for 2) that is now changed, made them bold for 3).
An item that has long been broken and is unrelated to the new layout...

It would be really awesome if the Ignore Boards options under the forum profile were fixed.  Whenever I try to use it, I get an error that says, "An Error Has Occurred!
Your session timed out while posting. Please go back and try again."
Status unknown really, I can't even reproduce it on my end. I suspect this has something to do with the amount of boards currently ignored...
If you guys ever do decide to fix it, I have two enhancements that I think would make the option nicer.  1) Default boards to Ignore and force users to turn it off, so when new boards are created we do not see all of the items for the new boards.  2) When you check the board for the league, it persists the behavior for all checkboxes of the sub boards.
That'd be a pass on both at least for the time being.

That *looks* like an outdated version, not sure though. Try to clear your browser cache and tell me if it looks the same please.

Please leave any feedback here. If you PMed me, I'll relay it here as well. This way our dev @Ninja can see all the feedback.
Aye, thanks!
"Ignore board options don't work.  When trying to use them and hit save it says it timed out."
Can't reproduce :o May have been a server hiccup, theme didn't touch that either so I would bet on some kind of server hiccup really.
Need timestamps to show up on mobile, crucial for moderators.
Where exactly? They do show up in topics, where do you need them?

  • Daddy: Former MLB exec says Albert Pujols has been lying about his age
    March 04, 2021, 03:41:19 PM
  • Daddy: Pujols is still set to make $30 million this season — which many believe will be his last, though he says he hasn't decided.
    March 04, 2021, 03:42:09 PM
  • Daddy: While recalling that contract, and offers the Marlins sent Pujols, Samson let it slip that the baseball player isn't the age he claims to be.  "We knew when we did the calculations for that deal that we didn’t care about 2019, '20 or '21. It was so far in the future that it didn’t matter,” Samson said. "We knew he’d be unproductive, we knew that he was not the age that he said he was. We had all the information."
    March 04, 2021, 03:43:17 PM
  • Daddy: Samson said, "There is not one person in baseball, not one executive, who believes Albert Pujols is the age that he says he is. The amount of fraud that was going on in the Dominican back in the day, the changing of names, the changing of birthdays, it would blow your mind."
    March 04, 2021, 03:44:25 PM
  • Daddy: Pujols would be three years older than the 41 years old he's listed at currently (considering his birth date of Jan. 16 is accurate), which would theoretically make him 44.
