League Openings / Posting New League Classifieds
« on: August 07, 2016, 04:41:36 PM »
A great way to make sure you have exposure, and you're classified isn't buried, is to organize classifieds by sport.  This way when members are looking for a particular sport, for example baseball, they don't have to search through every other sport classified to find what they want.

To help with this please post your new classifieds into the Classified Child Board for the league you're doing the recruiting for.  Thanks!

NCAA Discussion / Week 3
« on: September 14, 2015, 12:24:15 PM »
Here are the big games for week 3

Lets start with the Shocker

#23 :Northwestern: @ :Duke:
How often in the history of college football does :Northwestern: and :Duke: clarify as a big game? To me its a no brainer this week. The Wildcats are 2-0 with one cupcake win and a huge win vs Stanford. The Blue Devils are 2-0 with 2 cupcakes win, but deserve the respect due to the last 2 years being a very tough out in the ACC. This week we will find out what :Duke: is made out of heading into the Showdown in Durham next weekend vs :GeorgiaTech:

#18 :Auburn: @ :LSU:
By team names this game will classify as a big game. By ability I think :LSU: is a far far better team. I dont even want to talk about :Auburn: every year the media blows them up.

#14 :GeorgiaTech: @ #8 :NotreDame:
3 weeks ago this game was huge for the Irish, now down both Folston and Zaire its a must win for the Irish. With a true Fresh at QB and RB away games are gonna be tough, got to win the those home games. Every game is huge for :NotreDame: as with no conference and no extra conference championship game. On the other side its not a must win for :GeorgiaTech: but in a weak ACC this is a huge game for Tech to prove they belong.

:Stanford: @ #6 :USC:
A must win for Kevin Hogan and his Cardinals. A loss here really puts them behind the 8 ball in the conference, and with 2 no losses no chance at the playoff. :USC: a loss to the Cardinal could end there playoff hope if the Cards turn out to be mediocre, as it appears they are.

#15 :Mississippi: @ #2 :Alabama:
First big test for either team. Ol Miss has played 2 cupcakes, while the Tide has beaten a very down :Wisconsin: team and a cup cake. I like the Tide in this one. There crowd will be into and its hard to bet against Henry and Drake, what a lethal combo in the backfield. The only person in the world who could screw up that RB combo is Lane Kiffin.

#19 :BrighamYoung: @ #11 :UCLA:
BYU has just 3 more games left. @ :UCLA: @ :Michigan: and home to :Missouri: in late November. Win these 3 and the Cougars will be undefeated and crashing the College Football Playoff system. Lets slow down first tho, UCLA is no cupcake and at the rose bowl none the less. This to me would be the biggest upset of the year to date. Back up QB on the road @ the Rose Bowl..... Lots of pressure and hype. But you bet I am pulling for the Cougars! Crash the party! I want an 8 team playoff, only way to get it is to make the power conference's mad. BIG12 already is, lets do it again!
