Franchise NHL: Transactions / Re: Sharks/Canadiens
« on: February 13, 2019, 11:42:26 AM »
Traded to Sharks
Radek Faksa, $2.0m (2017-2020)

Send to Canadiens
Brenden Dillon, $2.9m (2017-2020)

This trade addresses our need up front. We feel Faksa is having a down year like the rest of the Dallas Stars. Really like the player we're getting as we continue to shape our organization. Montreal to confirm.
:iatp: Habs agree. We thought Faksa's been a bit of an anchor so we dealt for his former teammate Dillon whom he told us would be the banger we've been searching for. Thanks for the trade talks Rock!

Frank Vatrano, $1.5m (2017-2020)
D - Josh Mahura (2016: 3/85 - 0 Games)

Habs agree. Sanheim and Barrie were the starting points and the rest of the deal fell into place from there. Hate moving Akil Thomas. He's going to be an impact player one day without a doubt. GL from Poutine World!

Franchise NHL / Re: FNHL on what site in 2019-20?
« on: February 10, 2019, 06:15:13 PM »
One would think that the guy who owns the site would put in writing he's going to keep the site alive beyond the 2019 renewal date if it was true.

I guess a written public notice is too much legal proof in case he shuts down this site.

Franchise NHL: Transactions / Habs/Sabres Deal
« on: February 01, 2019, 01:02:35 PM »
Habs and Atlantic division rival Sabres agree to a deal. Buffalo inquired about the services of underperforming 26yo LW Mattias Janmark so worked out a deal that I feel we can both bear future. Beef to confirm. Good luck to BUF.

D - Ryan Graves (2013: 4/110 - 0 Games)

:iatp: Habs confirm this deal. Looking to further the cause and go deeper in the postseason and felt  we are getting good value for our players without sacrificing age or production. By dealing Vatanen and Claesson we hope some prospects on our farmer team can step up and fill the void. Thanks for the pro trade talks, ALL4! :toast:

  • indiansnation: No its not that its that those teams can't just go spend 30 to 40m on one player

  • kidd5jersey: If Harper and Machado don't have huge deals by opening day, I think the players should go on strike

  • indiansnation: Ok here u go cubs say owner said he would spend 200m this yr he is already has spent 160m. U could use another so,of and a back up catcher. Would u risk that 40m on one player or go after your 3 needs? U go after Harper he tears his knee. Can't play baseball for 2 yrs. U are know stuck paying 40m on a player u don't even have forv2 yrs. Its the money

  • kidd5jersey: Teams like the Yankees etc. have built a brand.  Those lower teams have to do the same.
  • indiansnation: There is a hard cap thresh hold where teams foot pay a penalty for going over that would take cubs past second one which would cost cubs 50m in. Fees they pay for signing him to a 30m yr contract. Look at Boston they are already past that 2nd thresh hold and have to pay 1 1/2 times what they over spent I believe its 36m on top of what the payroll is
    Today at 12:13:26 PM
