I am fine with a flat rate as well one problem like some has said is that some will try to load up on prospects that are cheaper talent for longer that will produce but am not sure you could really build a whole winning team this way I think it would be more trying to mix some of the more expensive contracts with the prospects and will make it interesting to see how teams might try to build them.

The braves make this trade because although it is tough to give up a player like Bautista and i hate doing it I have a great depth at RF with two other players in Ichiro and Eithier elligible at RF already this trade also gives me the CF i was in desperate need of to get myself a legal roster and be able to get points for matchups in this league i also liked the fact that i get a RF to replace Bautista in Beltran although he is a bit older then Bautista he is saves me 5 to 5 million dollars which i can use to get another player or use to resign players after this season .
