Dallas confirm the trade, in short term i lose the trade but as Jack says Long term should win the trade.
Didn't really want to lose Courtier who due a contract of 4.9m extension, due to last year pts total, but gaining that of Trocheck, who out for rest of season and same age as Courtier but who i regard as having abit more upside than Courtier. Plus hopefully comes back playing like the past 2 years.
Lose Hedman but gain McAvoy who at 20, is showing great promise as an offensive top 2 Dman, plus McAvoy being 7 years younger, the trade goes in the direction of my long term rebuild of Dallas.

Dallas Confirm the trade.
Losing that of a v.good player in Voracek, plus good prospect in Dahlen.
But gaining that of Coyle as a good 2nd line player who having a bit of an off start of the season, but should be around 45-50 pts by end of season, a young D in Dermot, plus an youngish G in Lindgren who i expect longterm to be Price's backup.
Dallas main aim was to get younger as Voracek is 30 at end of season, as Dallas plan is for long term rebuild.

Vancouver makes this deal, as it opens up abit of cap space for 2020 when a few players in my roster will need more $ contracts (McAvoy, Gourde, Bowey) plus certain prospects i expect to get ELC's.
Plus add 2 defenders to weakest part of my roster, while gaining another 1st Rounder.
