This is a great trade for Carolina to be able to shed $9.5m in cap space. I'm wondering if Florida could've asked for more?

Franchise NHL / Re: DISCUSSION: DECREASE 2021-22 CAP CEILING?« on: October 06, 2020, 11:19:19 PM »Hope everyone's seeing the value of this upcoming cap ceiling rollback. Hindsight is 20/20 and looking back, it really does make sense now that the gates have opened on free agency and there are few to no decent players hitting the market. I would speculate the teams that voted against the cap roll back have a high number of extensions to consider towards the end of this season. Good decision to roll back by a clear majority of the league's owners. 189

Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Re: Blues resign 9« on: October 04, 2020, 03:29:43 PM »Thanks to our assistant GM, we have identified several contracts to restructure. Blues will re-sign these players to new deals. Please hold off on this extension for Nico Hischier. We will reassess the situation and understand his extension cost can increase significantly however the opportunity to protect him with his Entry Level Contract status during the expansion draft next off season needs to be re-evaluated by our cap specialist. Thanks for the feedback everyone. |
