We like this package of players we are getting. It's a combination of toughness, scoring and a great prospect from the Wings organization. Hartnell's just too much of a 5 tool beast to pass up and with Giroux by his side I think he's only starting his run of high scoring seasons.

We have plenty of cap to handle Hartnell and Hamonic's extension at the end of the year so no issue up ahead in the salary department.

Senators will be actively rebuilding this upcoming FA period.
