Got a guy we like a bit more than Zubac. Not sure what happened to Zubac last year after a stellar showing in his first year in the league, but we also like Collins' dual eligibility. Not that it's as big a deal in this particular league, as we have a F/C slot. Give up the draft pick this year to bridge the gap between the two.

Re-tooled version of the one that caused so much controversy - Took out a big piece going to Vancouver and added in a few more pieces going to Toronto.

I'm still not thrilled with taking on Condon's $4.2m for 2 more years, as he'll be the back-up on one of, if not the worst team in the NHL this coming season.

Vancouver still gets younger here, despite giving up some more younger pieces of our own along with the 2 goalies.

Took a few days of back and fourth with Ric to get the pieces finalized after the previous one was halted, but we got it done.

Canucks confirm.

Trading a couple of our young dual-position depth players and a C prospect, in exchange for a C on a slight discount on the cap. Shores up our C position nicely but depletes depth, especially with the 2 positions with C and W. Hope to recoup those type of players in FA for a cheap price (fingers crossed).

Took us a bit to figure out the details (longer than we usually take when we talk trades!) but Brian and I got it figured out.
