I do this deal to add better depth on my rw and d. Enroth was expendible as I fully expect matt hackett to play the same roll in minnesota as enroth does in buffalo next season. Although I hate to send off the potential of adam abd kassian, but I would rather have a sure thing in williams and larsen. Columbus also sends his 2nd because I highly doubt I will resign larsen, as he is due a 2m raise. Thanks for the negotiations cbj

In the real NHL, most prospects signed through the draft usually have a ten game stay before their contract takes into account. Although that is impossible for us to do on here, but I have an idea that can potentially emulate this process.
Instead of teams losing the chance to sign their rookies to a three year deal after that prospect plays their first NHL game, how about we bump that rule up to ten games. This way, teams have the chance to keep players like Mika Zibanejad (who was sent back after playing 9 games) longer. We can also make the number 8 games for goalies.
But the idea is to help emulate the slide rule placed on drafted players in the real NHL.

A LOT going on!
The Buffalo Sabres are going to sign Marcus Foligno to a 2 year, 2 way contract worth 200k per season. He is currently placed at 148th this season and he did not play in the NHL last season.
We will be sending Luke Adam and Jhonas Enroth back to the minors so we can call Marcus Foligno to the main roster and so we can keep Zack Kassian on the main roster.
And lastly, we will be taking Dmitri Kulikov off of IR.
