Chicago wanted us to take Sullivan off their books and we asked for Ference in return since we need help on defense. We sent Carter the other way to balance the trade and he was only a depth player in Jersey so we're not losing much to add something we need.

We'd like to switch out our ABO from Volchenkov 2015-16 to Grabner 2014-15. Both have a 4.3M cap hit.

If that's workable, Jersey wants to buyout these guys to make room for a complete one year buyout of Volchenkov:

Patrik Elias, $6.0m (2012-2013) at 66.66% or 3.9M
David Clarkson, $2.7m (2012-2013) at 66.66% or 1.7M
Sami Salo, $1.5m (2012-2013) at 66.66% or 1.0M
Anton Volchenkov, $4.3m (2015-2016) at 66.66% or 11.4M

We're going to buyout and release Marc-Edouard Vlasic who's owed 2.6M through 14-15.
Buyout lumped into 1yr for 5.1M. We have 7.4M in available cap.
