Giants drop and buyout the contract of:
C Paulino, Ronny, $1.5m (2013) Salary obligation for 2012 & 2013 = $1.0m
Contract buyout: $2.0m x 1.1 = $2.2m, rounded up to $2.5m
This amount should equal the salary cap relief the Giants got when Wilson, Hughes, and Ramirez were dropped.
Additionally, in order to make sure this contract buyout is covered, the Giants also drop OF Justin Christian, $0.5m (P-n/a).

Giants trade: OF David Murphy, $2.5m (2012)
Nationals trade: MI Christan Colon, $0.5 (P/n-a) SP Barry Zito, $2m (2013)
Although David Murphy is a productive OF, I am not in contention because I am a member of "the embarrassing NL West". I was not planning to re-sign Murphy because the price will be to high for me. So I trade for a Giants SP and a KC prospect and I keep my coffers open to bid on some other Free Agents later on. My allegiance to the Giants will probably prevent me from ever really competing in this league, but it's still a lot of fun.
The Nationals need to confirm. I ask the TC to approve this trade.

Please drop the following players so I can be salary cap compliant:
SP Eric Hacker, SF $0.5m (P-n/a) SP Adam Warren, NYY $0.5m (P-n/a)
I am currently $1m over the cap, so this should make me legal again.

In 2011, Scott Van Slyke, LAD, played in 65 games at 1B for the AA Chattanooga Lookouts. He should be elgible as a CI/OF. After getting Joaquin Arias of SF eligible as a CI, he gets hit on the left wrist and has to leave the game.

When will Joaquin Arias, SF be eligible to be a CI? He was declared the starting 3B by manager Bruce Bochy in Pablo Sandoval's absence. He is listed as a SS/3B on Yahoo and only a MI on Fantrax. Could someone let me know when he will be CI eligible?
Thanks!
