First off, this deal is contingent on Darcy Kuemper, $4.9m (2012-13) $0.5m, (2014-15) being sent to my minors when the and deal is processed.

Now, to this deal. I highlighted the players that Gilly and I were talking about mainly.  The reason for the rest of the guys was for roster room and cap availability. 

I really like getting Kopitar and Hiller.  Even though Hiller isn't in a great position, he is an upgrade over Three-or-more in my opinion.  I also like unloading the HUGE contracts of Staal and Gabby.  This is another move for the future for me.  I think both teams made out pretty well.
