As of 07/01/11, 12:21 AM, I cannot find any post of the new rule that bids over 10 mil have to be in 1 mil increments. I will keep looking.

Brett Lebda 1.5 mil through 11/12. 1.5 X .66 = .990 , rounded up to 1.0 mil, Paid out over the 2 years.

For the 2010/11 season the season was played with many teams over cap and or roster. The season officially ends on the 25th. The expiring contracts will end and the FA period will begin with the start to the 2011/12 season. With the 10/11 contracts ending nobody to my belief will be over cap or roster. I do not understand why the commish does not make the deadlines after that date. The season is over what's the big deal. Run it PROPERLY from the start of the new hockey season date. I tried to run my team within cap and roster space and then after roster is revised by commish I am over roster limit. Really, Whats the big deal. If my opinion is wrong please feel free to correct me, I want to know.

Sorry, but I am not sure if my my recent moves solves my roster problems. I am over size limit by 2. Do players that are bought out still count as a roster space? I have numerous players with expiring contracts that I would let go to FA. Now I see managers buying them out for this year. Does that mean for the 10/11 year? And when bought out at rule %, does it free up cap room for 10/11 year. I then can extend a few contracts like I just did. This is a learning curve for me, first Dynasty League involved in. I cannot find anything in rules that explains to me proper way. Thank You

Detroit calls up Jakub Kindl to the major league roster as he has exceeded 40 games. He nwas a 1st rd. 19 th pick in 2005. So per rules he is to be signed to a 1 mil. contract. So Detroit signs Jakub Kindl to a 2 year contract at 1 mil per year.

09/10 rank 92. 10/11 rank 45. Detroit extends his contract for 3 years at 3.9 mil per year.
