Calhoun I screwed up 4 per year is correct agree to that
Gomez does fall under the ability to extend at lower cost but is 2 years.
I am not using the ability to lower his pay I want to keep him for the extra year for the 3 years.
If I am not mistaken has always been the ability to keep player at current rate for the contract length within that pay. Like in free agency you can pay guy higher amount then bid to get extra year if one wanted to.
