The Dallas Stars have trade center Derek Roy to the Canucks for a 2nd round pick and defenseman Kevin Connauton.
Roy is strictly a rental as he is a UFA at the end of the season.
Connauton has yet to play in the NHL and was originally drafted by the Canucks 83rd overall in the 2009 draft.
Nice pickup for the playoffs for the :VAN: gives them some depth at center for sure.
Rumor is still out there that they want Ryan Clowe. We will see!
