G Martin Biron, $1m (2013-2014)
D Jonas Brodin, $m (P-n/a)
3rd round pick
$1m cash in 2012/2013

:BOS-NHL: receives
RW Ty Rattie, $m (P-n/a)
1st round pick
2nd round pick

I make this deal to gain some bargaining chips in another trade negotiation.  I like Rattie a lot, so if those other negotiations break down I won't be heart broken.  I'm feeling better about my goalie situation which makes Biron expendable and he's a nice fit for the Blues as a handcuff for Lundqvist.

Blues Confirm. Our depth in RW prospects allowed us to move one of them in Rattie for a goalie handcuff and a young D that we really like.
