Reds agree to trade:

Cueto SP $7m (2013) 10m (2014)
Meseroco C $.440m (2013) 3yr (2014) ARB (2017)

Rockies agree to trade:

Wilin Rosario C $.480 (2013) ARB (2016)
A LaRoche  1B  $2.5 (2014)
B Chen   SP $2.5 (2013)
Rex Brothers SP Minors
Edwar Cabrera SP Minors


Reds make this trade to add depth at the catcher and infield positions and depth in my depleted minor league systems. Cueto is the center-piece of the trade. I get Rosario and LaRoche and take back the salary of Bruce Chen in a salary-dump for the Rockies in exchange for getting Edwar Cabrera and take Rex Brothers in exchange for Devin Mesoroco.

I accept this trade. 

I add Cueto, a much needed stud SP and the #14 overall prospect last year in Mesoraco for my backup 1B, Rosario, an RP, a SP prospect and dump Chen's $2.5M salary.
