How is everyone's weeks going. I got out to a good start with 14 points in day 1. Hoping for the Edmonton boys to start firing some more.
I am calling out two games of the week because they are fairly important in regards to positioning
:CLG: vs :ANA:
- with Calgary win they more to 4-0 and Anaheim would move to 2-2
- with Anaheim win they would move to 3-1 and Calgary would be 3-1
- this is key because Edmonton is right behind Calgary in the standings and Anaheim is playing in a tough division with all but one team being over .500
&
:MON-NHL: vs :NAS:
- with Nashville win they move to 4-0 and Montreal would move to 1-3
- with Montreal win they move to 2-2 and Nashville would move to 3-1
- this is key because it pretty much determines Montreal's playoff faith this early in the season. Nashville is again in the tough division so every win is important.

cant say im not rooting for Calgary to lose cause with that and with a win from me puts me in first in the division, and yeah my week started alright with 30 points first night!

My week just got a lot better with a 11 pt day from jimmy howard! That had to of not been easy.

Thanks drew I wanted to stay in the shadows and under the radar but guess 3-0 turn around from last year draws attention. But this week will be hard one to win agianst beaner and how I don't hve much players playing this week. And Lou still in air should be a interesting week. Good luck beaner and may the best team win :) :beer:

That cancelled TB/BOS game messed with my head. I'm working 11hr days away from a computer so no chance to change my starters....probably wouldn't have been able to anyway but is it a sign from the hockey gods that both Mason and Greiss played while I had them on the bench? Losses for both SJ and Nashville but missed out on some points all the same.
Anthony has a really solid team and Smith is back in form in Phoenix so should be tough all week. Good performances from Datsyuk and Kovalchuk tonight. Great ones from Gagner and Clarkson. Looking forward to Tuesday for a good slate of players while Montreal's best night might just be a Valentine.

I'm calling out :OTT: vs :BOS-NHL: as a " TSN Turning Point" this early in the season!!!
The winner moves to .500 and a sniff at the playoffs while the looser goes 1-3 and a playoff birth a virtual no-go. Going to be a great match-up.

My team finally scored some points whoo and Tyler Myers gets a goal and an assist I am hoping he finally bounces back to his rookie year type of play. To bad Detroit had to score 130 points.
