The following organizations have been available:
Dodgers
Angels
Rockies
Rangers
The following organizations are now available, with the removal of their current GM's due to inactivity:
Yankees
White Sox
Mariners
I am also resuming updating the roster spreadsheet this weekend for 2013, so if anybody wants to see something in particular updated first, let me know and I'll take care of it.
-
I'd like to switch to the White Sox if possible, but I'd want to keep the players I drafted since the White Sox GM has been inactive and didn't make any picks.
-
Switching the draft picks at this point would open up a can of worms and set precedents that I wouldn't be able to handle in the future. The next GM will be able to make up any picks that he or she wants with the remaining players though.
There is also the issue of the White Sox not having enough roster spots available for all the picks at this point.
New GM's will be allowed to resign a player to a contract extension if they wish.
-
The non-tender deadline will be extended for new GM's.
-
Awesom-o takes over the White Sox. The defending AL champion Royals are available.
-
Hi
I would like to take ownership of the angels if it wouldnt be a problem?
or if not is there a way i can review rosters before choosing one of the available franchises
-
whoops didnt see the application
-
You can take the Angels. Did you get a chance to review the rules yet? http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=79863.msg436152#new
You can review all rosters here: http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=27311.0
I have the Excel spreadsheet that I can email you if you'd like.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I know it can be a lot to take in at the beginning.
-
Is this where we are currently at as open teams?
Dodgers
Rockies
Rangers
Yankees
Royals
Mariners
-
oh lookey there 6, perfect number for a contraction
-
Contraction isn't an option. Cutting down the number of teams would make this league like many others. The reason I started this league was because I couldn't find an existing league like it. I'll juggle the open teams myself if I can't find anybody.

I could come back and take over the Dodgers if possible.
