It is just mind boggling that they would raise it to 70 when the owners knew they would want it so much lower 5 months from then.  It just screws themselves when their GM's dish out massive lengthy contract after massive lengthy contract.  Then they blame the players for wanting so much money.  How about not paying bit players 5 million a year for 5 years and save that money for the stars, the players people pay to watch.

yeah, the whole thing seems weird to me but, hey that's why I am not a Millionaire.

The way they run the NHL it is a wonder how they are millionaires to begin with.
