Title: Everything Is Data
Post by: Fourfingerwoo on August 18, 2012, 02:17:09 PM
Sitting here wondering out loud, why do I take small verbal jabs at other GM's when they bid on the players I post. Is it because I'm selfish and want all the toys to my self ? Is it because I'm a capitalist pig and believe each man should survive on his on merits and should improve their teams solely based on the amount of work they are willing to put forth to improve their individual fortunes. Or is it just the fact that I'm an arrogant conceded owner that wants the others to marvel at my greatness. To tell you the truth I'd say it couldn't be any farther from the truth, except for the fact that I am a capitalist pig. I do it for one reason and one reason only, to collect information on individuals that I have never meet face to face in my life, but spend upwards of 10% of my life trying to beat. I offer data and I also receive data in any conversations shared in this and any other league I compete in. So if I offend anyone in making a snide remark, for this I truly do apologize although I always try to keep it within a civil parameter. So I'd just like to clear the air and let every owner know exactly where it is I am coming from, and want to offer my deepest condolences to any feelings that may be trampled on as we journey thru what should be a multi-year relationship. And to fair warn everyone, that I will always remain civil even in instances of ridicule and verbal sparring. But never will I stop using these methods to do what I do best and thats, collect data.
