Title: Amateur Draft start

What are people's preferences for the day of the week to start this year's amateur draft? It will begin in mid-October. To simplify things, I'm making the choices either Saturday morning or Monday morning unless there's strong support for another time for whatever reason.

I am for monday, because by the time I get to pick, it may be after saturday.   :doh:

I really dont mind either way

The day it starts really only matters to the people near the top of the draft order in case there's a quick run of picks. Looks like we'll start with Saturday.

If anybody wants to help run the draft, let me know. The role would be basically the same as last year. Keep the list of picks made up to date and send a message to the next person to draft (as a courtesy, not a requirement). Thanks.
