Bro, where are you getting these numbers from? Per Fantrax:

Josefson-172
Johansson-84
Bonino-159
Tyrell-129
Nystrom-75
Gagne 75
Carle-35
Martinez-110
Hedman-104

The figures that I gave you were legit killer, you owe me some money.

i had locked the thread thinking my work was done... then this AM noticed ur post cheese. so i've unlocked it.

i took the figures from the 2012-13 fantrax 2012-13 site.
it appears you took your from the 2011-12 fantrax site.

ex. Bonino 42.95pts scored in 2011-12 on both versions of FNHL leagues, BUT he's ranked 159 in 2011-12 and 151st in 2012-13 version.

I'll have to double check how FNHL 2012-13 was setup/created by Drew and verify the scoring stats.

then i'll get back to you in the next 1-2 days. more detective work. geez!

2012-2013?  It is my understanding we use the two previous years( 10-11, 11-12) to calculate extensions which is the standard in most leagues. Nobody should have to pay based on Fantrax predictions, you and I could cover hockey better than those clowns. Either way, I wasn't trying to pull one over on the league just my interpretation of the extension policy. Thanks pigs.

So I think what Pigs was talking about is the way Fantrax is set up. If you look at your fantrax leagues, you may have a league that says NHL Commissioner (2011-2012) and under that is Franchise NHL (2011-2012) and a league that says NHL Commissioner (2012-2013) and under that is Franchise NHL (2012-2013). They are different league pages, with different players available and position eligibilities.

you can just click on the league history to check previous years.

I noticed the difference between last season's player ranking and this season's. as well. Maybe Fantrax removed retired players or some players changed positions like from Center to Wing.

after reviewing the 2011-12 FNHL and 2012-13 version of the FNHL fantrax sites, i can say the 2012-13 site is accurate.

2 reasons:
1) point totals are consistent yr-over-yr
2) 2012 NHL draftees have been updated on the 2012-13 site whereas they are missing (not updated) on the 2011-12 version ... odd because you'd think fantrax would use 1 player pool universe, but doesn't appear to be the case. therefore fantrax has likely also updated player position eligibility on the 2012-13 shifting players betw positions and altering player rankings.

therefore we'll use the numbers i pulled from the 2012-13 fantrax site for FNHL.
any Q's let me know.

thread is now closed as the mystery of the inconsistent fantrax FNHL stat yr-over-yr was solved. 2012-13 FNHL fantrax site looks to be updated with current player pool (including 2012 NHL draftees) and updated player positions.

:TBL: team pg already updated earlier in the wk.
