Phillies accept.

I may kick myself later for trading Brown but I'm banking that Berkman can return to a 25ppg player this year and next.  Pennington gives me a much needed backup MI and Golden is a decent spec.

Thanks Ben for the negotiations  :toth:

I personally like what the Brewers get here.  Can Berkman repeat his 2011 campaign and not be hurt?  Fat Elvis has had 50 AB this season and has produced netting 20+ FPG but will that last?  Hunter isn't doing that great, but can probably top out at 15+ FPG.  Dominic Brown is the key.  I like this for Milwaukee as they replace some value with the cheap Hunter and net prospect Brown who should see plenty of play time over the next year and a half.

Either way, I approve. :judge:

I've always wondered why Berkman gets such a bad rap... He sucked in NYY which of course gets you tons of negative publicity, but the guy has a career 296/409/545 slash.  He has only one year in his career (since his 90 ABs as a rookie) under an 800 OPS (2010 in NYY), and 10 over a 900 OPS!
