The Nationals release Chad Tracy ($0.5m - 2011) outright, and buyout his remaining contract.

2010: $0.5m
2011: $0.5m
Total: $1.0m * 10% = $1.1m rounded up to $1.5m

Nationals will take a hit of $1.5m for 2010.
