The Brewers accept and are happy to gain 2 young prospects and a future prospect towards our rebuilding

The Marlins are making this trade to add to their starting pitching which has been faltering lately. Marcum could end up just being a rental player but hope he decides to stick with the club.

The marlins are letting two good prospects go that we really like and next years 1st round pick.  We are not sure what that will be but are hoping it will be towards the latter part of the round in which we are not high on.

:MIA-MLB: is giving up quite a bit for Marcum, but they are in it to win it.  Luckily they won't have an early pick in the first round.

Good deal for :MIL: imo.

If I believed the pick to be Top 15, I would not have agreed to it.  For the 1st round there are about 15 I like.  After that I am not to high on. 2nd/3rd/4th rounds I see a lot of potential there.

I totally agree.  That's why I don't think its bad for you.  If you had a high pick, I would be worried.  Luckily its a late pick in a weak draft.
