Not sure what everyone else thinks of this or Boston Rob but.....
It would be nice if each team was able to make one reply post on their team page made up of who is on the block / trade rumors, untouchables and team wants/needs.
We could edit the one post as our teams needs changes etc so that it doesn't get cluttered etc.
This would save from having to flip back and forth through trade posts and sort through looking for updates on each team. All you would need to do is scroll down to see who that team is shopping and what they are looking for.

I have unlocked your roster threads so that you can do this. Feel free to also use it to keep track of your team records, past rosters, or whatever else as you see fit.
Also, on the trade block thread if you check the first post of the thread I keep that updated with everyone's current block.
-
Awesome, thanks Rob!! and I didn't realize that with the trade forum.
-
Did you happen to see this in Backyard NHL? haha
Here is what I did in Backyard: http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=57583.0

Nope cant say that I did, but I guess great minds think alike. Sorry I haven't joined backyard yet. Tyler keeps telling me how great it is. Just haven't had the time to invest. I was reading through the rules last time and got a little lost so I figured I better stop before I hurt myself.

We could make the 1st page of the Trade block (the lovely recap of everyone's list) its own page and put it in with the purply subjects like the waiting list, q&a thread, supplemental draft and the like. Then it would be more visible. More people need to know that I am willing to part with Drayson Bowman, a prototypical player of the future NHL, slow, can't score, likes hitting and clutching people to impede speed.

Important Dates thread is helpful.

As usual I have a big mouth and another suggestion for improvement. After watching our supplemental draft this year and being a bit of a geek when it comes to prospects. Why don't we open the draft up to any players that have been drafted or signed by an NHL team that would still meet our Minor eligibility requirements?
I think it would give the draft some flare and definitely some interesting picks would be made instead of everyone pretty much drafting off the NHL results. I personally have no desire to draft guys that I feel are 3-4 years away from even having a hope of making the NHL. I enjoy trying to find those diamonds in the rough or guys that were drafted 4th round in 2009 that have developed really well and are one step from coming into the league.
-
I was just thinking the same thing, because now I have to hope I can sign those guys in Free Agency with minimal interference from the rest of you animals.
-
for now I look forward to the competition Gypsie! Now give me your tears so I can protect myself from aids.
-
who are you planning on signing, I just want to know so that I dont interfere.,,,, honestly
-
Even if Snug doesn't interfere, I may...
-
I plan on signing Swedes. All the Swedes. I am turning my team into an Ikea. I look forward to seeing who values who when it comes to youngsters.

oh that is good to hear because i have been primarily scouting latvians
