Title: "ATL/KC Trade" part dos
Post by: Mr.TradeKing on June 11, 2010, 07:40:38 PM
OF Maybin, Cameron, $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI,MI Belliard, Ronnie $0.5m (2010)

for

P Crow, Aaron, $0.5m (P-n/a)
C Olivo, Miguel, $2m (2010)
pick 3-10

I am a big fan of Olivo and he has produced. Maybin wasn't even starting for me as I benched him just as the Marlins did. He may turn out to be good, but I have yet to see it and Olivo is darn good. Crow has struggled, but what prospect doesn't? I am willing to bet that his whole college career wasn't a fluke and that he will get things sorted out. I eat a million in this deal and will drop someone if needed when my team page is updated. The added pick gives me compensation if I do need to drop someone and gives me a monopoly on the third round :P.

I know have 2 good C's which means o idk maybe a team like the CUBS might be interested in one if he wants to escape a "2010 disaster." lol

I accept this trade because I am getting Maybin who i am hoping still turns into a 5 tool player. Santana was called up so I have two good C options and Olivo was expendable. I gave up the 3rd round pick so that I could pick up two prospects with the extra $1m that ATL is going to take that makes the money not even.
