The calgary flames would like to announce a trade with Ottawa
to Calgary
Lubomir Visnovsky, $5.6m (2012-13)
Roman Horak, $0.2m (2012-13)

TO Ottawa
Martin Havlat, $5.0m (2013-14)

reasoning for trade is to free up some cap in my right wing postion and pick up a great prospect

:OTT: Confirms this trade. I really needed to free up some cap at the Def. position and needed a RW as Hejduk is looking to retire in the off season.  Thanks Nelly for easy talks at work...............but we got it done  :toth: :thumbsup:

I hope ottawa can fill their d core in free agency or they might be in trouble during the season. But the trade is solid. So  :iatp:
