I have to agree with those picks.
-
St. Louis and Carolina will be the winners.
-
Sharks are not dead !! :afro:
-
I saw Jaws, did pretty good up until the final scene and they blew that shark to pieces.
injury note. Howard left Sundays game early , not good news for Detroit.

Hopefully my team can endure a little adversity now that its the playoffs. St Louis is a tough opponent, but if I can make it through this week I could have Howard and Datsyuk back next week.

don't forget about Lindstrom
-
Hot start for the 'canes with Bobby Ryan, Blake Wheeler and Pavalec all having big games. San Jose might be in trouble!

yes hot start for the 'canes >:( , my sharks have to be hot tonight !!

I am a fan of picking players that underachieve for 80% of the season and then turn it on when their real life teams are completely out of the playoff picture, which just so happens to be fantasy playoff time. Eric Stall had 5 points his first 16 games this year and 20 points in his last 11 games. He is playing according to plan.

Big night for :STL-NHL:. According to the seeding this would not be an upset, but I see :DET-NHL: as a better team than the standings portray, so I would see it as a pretty big upset if :STL-NHL: wins.

Hurricanes are running away with it early!
-
Come on Sharks! I really don't want to face Carolina in the first round. I actually thought of taking a dive last week so that I wouldn't. ha ha.
-
Chicago/Detroit first round will be great.
-
St. Louis and Carolina will be the winners.
Predicting it like a boss,, ha ha

Nice Jared that's a bold pick in St Louis. Though it looks like SJ might make a game of it afterall.

Carolina is going to blow out San Jose the rest of the week. They double them in starts for the next 3 nights. San Jose 20 , Carolina 40.
Detroit and St. Louis could get more interesting with detroit having 44 starts to St. Louis's 32. I think the dagger for DET will be weak in the goaltending without Howard.

Glad to see most people are picking Detroit. St. Louis likes being the underdog. Ben Bishop picked the right week to get called up and start producing.

One thing to consider is that Fantrax counts a players game when they are in the starting lineup even if they are injured. I count a total of 6 games of those 44 that detroit won't get due to the player being injured. The real count should be 38- to 32- depending on goalie starts. I like my chances.

The end for my Sharks :soapbox:
-
holy crap , just realized how many pools the sharks are in. I think we need to have an intervention. poolies anonymous.
-
Looks like the Blues and the Cains make it through.
I think I will get upset this week. Backstrom is out, when Mason just starts to do good he goes down with an injury, Toews injury has killed my team, Steeger has been sidelined for a while, ugh
