Title: Rays/Rangers Trade

Tampa and Texas have agreed to a trade.

Tampa sends:

Bj Upton, CF
Wade Davis, SP
Jose Lobaton, C
Reid Brignac, SS
Justin Ruggiano, OF

Texas sends:

Mike Napoli, C
Matt Harrison, SP
David Murphy, OF
Jurickson Profar, SS (Hickory)

We did this deal to sure up our catcher position and add a solid young prospect.  The deal fits our strategy by retaining cost effective talent outside of free agency.  While we take a hit in terms of talent from Upton to Napoli and Davis to Harrison, the drop was worth it to add a good young prospect to the fold.

Like getting Upton even though he may get traded as he is a good talent but had a down year for Tampa,i still like his bat.Wade Davis will make a great fit for us as he is young and  has good stuff.Loboton will be a nice backup along with Brignac,Ruggiano i hope signs with a good team as he has some talent for a young guy
