Anyone let me know if they are unhappy with this or would like a different team.

I would like this to go to an 8 team playoff, winner of each division takes 1st through 3rd. With 5 wild cards. Please leave comments below. I tried to give everyone their requests and assume based off people's favourite teams which they would want if they.
I would allow any American team (other than PIT or PHI) to change their name. NYI is not allowed as I don't want 2 NY teams.
BUF could become a team close to the border, STL, MIN.
No Original 6 team can be changed.

I like it as well.... top teams all have another top team in the div, and the other teams are all very competative. I think its cool

Love the new look and format but I am TOTALLY confused on all the GMs changing teams. Are these typo's... eg (MON-NHL: - abbyroad,:BOS-NHL: - BeanTown,OTT: - nelly85:PHI-NHL: - favo_zomg)

Nope not typos but hoping that GMs would be ok with "Team Name Switches" only, they would not be switching players. Would you be ok switching to MON? And asking if other teams would be ok switching?

Thanx for the clarification Drew. I personally don't have an issue with becoming " Les Canadian" and get to stay original six!!! :thumbsup: As far as the others go...........I'm sure Nelly never wants to hear Philly again..........and Beanner and his " Big Bad Bruins" are the perfect match!!! So I say :winner:

Thanks Tony, this was a combined effort haha. I wanted 6 team divisions and Tony wanted teams to match people more like sportsdoc with NYR and Bean with BOS, etc

I actually like being a Bruin but if you guys has other plans i guess you have the commoshes on your side :-)
If Henning wants to stay a Bruin I will take another team name, doesnt matter to me at all. Whatever makes it work out the best

Made some edits. Henning stays as BOS. BeanTown becomes any team he wants out of the remaining 13 teams. abby become OTT and nelly becomes BUF, STL or MIN

:thumbsup:ya im ok with it glad im not Philly no more lol i didnt know we were sitchhing teams to teams we like would have picked something diffrenet then the 3 i got to pick but last come i guess least im still in league as that said id take STL then and the set up looks great drew good job

Passed! This will take place after the second extension period and these teams and divisions will be represented for next season.

1 matchup against each other opponent = 12 total games
1 rivalry week game = 1 game
23 total games

Could do it last week of the season against the team closest to you in the standings? 1st vs 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, 5th vs 6th
Or could be based on the closest actual NHL rivalry

No rivalry week will be included in the schedule, instead the playoffs will start a week earlier to ensure the finals have at least one week to go through.
