Ankiel's best ranking of 113 puts him at a $0.5 market value.
Franklin's signed. :judge:
Thurston signed. :judge:
Ludwick signed. :judge:
Pineiro's #19 ranking would earn him $11m/year
Thompson signed. :judge:

Rick Ankiel's contract changed to $0.5/2 years. I looked at pitcher salaries before rather than outfielder salaries.
Joel Pineiro's contract is $11.0/1 year. Should be right unless he has to be signed for 5 years. If so, he will be released to free agency.

What I meant to say is that Pineiro is due $12m/year. A player with that value may be signed any amount of years up to five.

I was apparently having a bad day... you had it right the first time with Ankiel as I forgot to look at his 2009 salary of $3m. He must make at least 50% of that which is what you had originally with $1.5m. I'm processing the extensions assuming you are fine with the $1.5m/year for 3 years for Ankiel.
