Twins get
RP Alburquerque, Al, $0.5m (P-2014)
OF Gardner, Brett, $0.5m (P-2012)
for
A's get
OF Kalish, Ryan, $0.5m (P-2013)
CI Reynolds, Mark, $2.5m (2016)
P Musgrove, Joe, $0.5m (P-n/a)

I do this because I get a Gardner and good young RP. It hurts to get rid of Kalish who i really like but he has been hurt alot and Reynolds who i like.

I accept the deal.  There are many aspects to this deal.  Gardner very good young player, on prospect contract that can be extended very easily and cheaply.  Albequerque K Rate is amazing, MIN is aware of his injury, but he is a very strong contributor when he comes back. 

I receive Reynolds, who will hopefully to continue to contribute in the same manner as he has, without that one year where he was terrible.  He could go back to that.  I take on the salary increase going forward.  Kalish, I like.  Good skills to do well in this format, if he can get healthy.  Hoping he takes over in RF for Bos later this year.  Musgrove is a 2011 draft pick for TOR that I am high on, but he is a good bit away. 

Good deal for both.
