Two of the biggest rivals in the AL Central have come together on a trade:

1B Jake Bauer's 2024 $0.5
CF Jose Siri 2027 $0.5 / $4.0
OF Victor Mesa Jr minors

for

1B/OF Cody Bellinger 2025 $10.8

This solidifies 1B for us and gives us a bar we've been looking for

Time to move on from Bellinger as we continue to re-work this team in preparation for next season. Bellinger ranks 212 and in return we get Siri who ranks 263 plus a fill in 1b in Bauers and top prospect in Mesa.
