The rule doesn?t specify that they have to be on the 60 day IL in real life it just says MLB IL

60 Day Injured List

Any player may be placed on the 60-day Injured List (IL) if they are placed on MLB IL. From Spring Training until the end of the season.

Players placed on the 60-day IL do not count against the 38-man roster.

Placing players on 60-day IL and removing them must be posted on the Transactions forum.

www.mlb.com will be used as the basis of IL information for players placed on 60-day IL.

Players will need to be removed from the 60-day IL once they are in real life.
