Each year on November 15 we will hold our 5 round rookie draft.   The commissioner or a member of the executive office will add 5 additional roster spots to the minor league system for the the draft only.  At the conclusion of the draft those spots will be removed.

Only players that were signed by teams by teams can be drafted.   If players are drafted in the MLB draft but do not sign they can not be drafted or bid on as free agents in the current year.

International players Can NOT be drafted.   They are treated as MLB players and must be bid on.

Player MLB Service Time:

Service time for minor league players does not start until the year he makes his MLB debut.  At that time, he will move to the following year after the completion of the current year.   An example would be a first-year player who completes his current year but has not been called up to MLB.  The following year his contract will still be 1st year.  IF a player makes his MLB debut in any league season then during the off-season he will move to 2nd year, and his 6 year service time will start at that time.
