I just want to make a point of clarification regarding the Injured List rule.
Item AVII A-3.0- 60 Day Injured List
There shall be a 2 player Injured List for players who are assigned to the 60 Day Injured List by their MLB teams.
Since a player cannot be placed on or remain on the injured list unless they are on their MLB team's injured list:
- all players on the injured list at the end of the season must be placed back on the active roster
- if a GM does not make a move to reinstate the player, the league office will move the player back to the active roster. If there is not room on their roster, the player will be released.
- players cannot be placed on the injured list during the offseason as there is no injured list in MLB during that time. The injured list becomes available in Spring training.
Hopefully, these clarifications help. I will likely revise the wording in the rulebook to provide more clarity on the rule.
