My bad Dan, I am still learning who was signed and when... Cubs to accept new deal... Mike was only giving me Gardner if I took on Fukudome and gave him Pierre, so the outfielders are off the table now.

Cubs accept new deal.. this trims the major league pitching staff, and brings in young talent, draft picks, CI depth, and a cheaper version of Madson (and probably better).
