Title: Brooklyn Nets & Los Angeles Clippers Trade
Post by: DynastyDeacon on August 08, 2022, 02:05:00 PM
Los Angeles Clippers trade:
Daniel Gafford $1.8m (2023)

Brooklyn Nets trade:
Brooklyn Nets 1st Round Pick in 2025
Brooklyn Nets 2nd Round Pick in 2025

The Clippers continue to pick up picks to rebuild. Gafford would be a good young cheap player to build around, but the Clippers are taking the Oklahoma City Thunder approach to rebuilding, which is all about the picks.

Thanks for the talks, Brooklyn.

Nets accept. Brooklyn is looking to add quality players at PF/C and Gafford makes for a nice addition to play alongside Markkanen. As the offseason gets into full swing in the NBA, Brooklyn will be working to improve the roster and hopefully be able to responsibly get to a proper roster size.

Corresponding move to maintain roster size:
Release Georges Niang $1 (2023) and take full cap hit as 1 yr deal.

Fantraxed, no cap hit for Georges Niang as he is at a $1m per year contract.

Every single manager in the league is encouraged to cast an  :iatp: or a  :veto: with an explanation if they vote veto.

I process all trades after 48 hours of being posted and confirmed as long as there are not any veto votes. That's the criteria I follow to keep the league transactions flowing smoothly, especially now that managers cannot trade assets until any previous trades involving them are processed. Any trades with a veto vote are given final approval or veto by Billy.
