Jays Receive:
2B/CLE Owen Miller $550K (ARB2)
Rays 5th Rd pick 2023

Rays Receive:
1B/StL Albert Pujols 1M (2022)
Jays 4th Rd pick 2023

Jays do this to cut cap and gain a cheap INF bat with control. 2B has been troublesome for the Jays this season, so the additional 2B helps. We wish Rays and Pujols th best of luck as Albert rides into the sunset.

I think Pujols is a downgrade from Miller. But Miller was my third best 2B while I don't have an MLB 1B on my roster, so this makes sense from a positional standpoint and to move up a little in future drafts.

I think Miller is worth more given cheap contract and Puljos retiring after this season but :iatp:

This is more an FYI for rays than anything, but I did forget to include Albert Pujols 1M salary has been paid via LAD.

For LMs/Mods: Pls note: In conjunction with my other deals yesterday I am under the cap. So pls be advised of that fact as well.
