Guardians Receive:

(CI-SF) Casey Schmidt (P-N/A) Prospect
(CI-MI/CHW) Colson Montgomery(P-N/A) Prospect


Atlanta makes the first in what could be a slew of deals to obtain young talent and cut some cap to hopefully sign FAs this season. The upside of Frelick in the deal combined with the possibility that Garrett could get the call for a rebuilding Miami MLB team should help free up some other players Atlanta otherwise might have been hesitant on moving. This deal helps both teams' futures and hopefully also works out for the Guardians.

Cleveland agrees this trade i move on from Kelvin Gutierrez and alliws me to send all the players down to minors and i add some young debth to build around my team in next few yrs.
